Congratulations to Russell Clowes (38) on winning the Australian Masters Athletics 800m (Men 35-39) at the 2019 AMA Track and Field Championships! In blustery conditions, Russell patiently waited until 250m to go before kicking home to take first place by 1.03s, crossing the line in 2:06.98. In Russell's own words: "Not my best time for the season, but definitely my best race. It was a very windy day so tactics became important. I was very pleased with the end result."
